TerrainWarningOperator Class
Tags elevation rasters or 3D mesh features for use in a terrain warning overlay.

Remarks
This operator is used to tag data so it can be used to generate a terrain warning or be colored by it.
In a 2D view
A TerrainWarningOperator must be used in a 2D view that wants to display a terrain warning because without it Carmenta Engine can not identify the ground elevation data that the terrain warning is generated from.
Typically the operator is added to a separate TileLayer, so that the elevation data can be cached, that only reads elevation data:

The location of the TileLayer in the View.Layers list determines when the terrain warning is rendered. It will be rendered on top of all the layers preceding it.
The same considerations that apply when you want to read any other raster data efficiently apply when reading elevation data for a terrain warning. I.e. make sure the source data is multi-resolution or read by a dataset that has a raster cache. See Working with Raster Data and Working with DTED Data for more information.
In a 3D globe view
A 3D globe view can identify the ground without help (it is provided through GlobeView.ElevationInput) but if you have other meshes that you want to apply the terrain warning to, for example building models, then you can add a TerrainWarningOperator before the VisualizationOperator that visualizes them:

You should also consider placing the layer inside a GlobeTileLayer (this is true regardless of whether a terrain warning is applied to the mesh or not).
