The values sidc takes are described in App-6(B) Symbol Identification Coding (SIDC), App-6(C) Draft 1 Symbol Identification Coding (SIDC), SIDC identifiers in MIL-STD-2525B, SIDC identifiers in MIL-STD-2525C or , SIDC identifiers in MIL-STD-2525D, depending on the standard used.
