The S-63 user permit.
Remarks
The S-63 user permit is a character string that uniquely identifies the client machine, and is required when contacting an S-63 data server to purchase licences for ENC data. The data server will create ENC permit files bases on the information in the user permit, that will allow the client to decrypt the licensed ENC files. Since the user permit is unique for each client, other clients can not use the same ENC permits; licenses must be purchased for each client individually.
User permits are assigned to client machines using the Carmenta Engine license file. To acquire a Carmenta Engine license with an assigned user permit, please contact Carmenta Product Support. Note that all Carmenta Engine licenses that include an S-63 user permit must be activated and locked to a particular machine, even runtime licences.
