Gets the value associated with the specified key.

Thread safety: This method is not thread-safe. Show

If the containing object is part of a View, then calls should only be made from the GUI thread while holding the global configuration lock using a Guard

The Thread Access Verifier will enforce this rule when it is active and the object is part of a View.

The key that specifies which value to return.

The value associated with the specified key or null if the key cannot be found.
